On March 3, 2024, Caleb Harris spent the night playing video games with his two roommates and a mutual friend at their off-campus apartment on Ennis Joslin Road in Corpus Christi, Texas.
On March 4, 2024, Harris, along with one of his roommates and a mutual friend, were captured on a nearby doorbell camera playing with his roommate’s new puppy in the apartment complex parking lot around 12:56 am.
The three young men then returned to the apartment and the friend left shortly after. Around 2:20 am Harris told his roommate who was going to bed that he was going to stay up and order lunch for the next day via Uber Eats.
Up until 2:45 am Harris sent various Snapchat videos to family members, including a video to his sister depicting him walking the dog through the apartment complex parking lot. Harris seemingly returned home with the puppy just before 3:00 am.
