Background
Noelle Marie Lynch graduated from St. Francis High School Sacramento. She attended University of California San Diego and San Diego State University, but experienced a difficult time with isolation during the pandemic lockdowns.
In 2024, Lynch enrolled at California State University, Sacramento as a junior student to be closer to family. She lived with her parents in Granite Bay, California, in the Sacramento area.
Disappearance
On April 1, 2024, Noelle Lynch left her parents’ residence in the Sacramento area and drove to Southern California. She was said to be vulnerable and in a “difficult state of mind” at the time.
On April 2, 2024, Lynch was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles, California, between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. She suffered no injuries but her car was totaled. Her mother booked a hotel room for her near LAX airport where they planned to meet up, but Noelle never showed up.
On April 3, 2024, Noelle Lynch’s last contact with family was a phone call to her mother from a “strange person’s” cell phone” at noon. The conversation was brief and Lynch was “mostly not making sense” on the phone.
Around 5:00 pm, Noelle was last seen on surveillance camera walking away from an apartment complex in the area of 925 East Redondo Avenue in Inglewood, California, about six miles from LAX Airport.
Noelle Lynch never made it back home and hasn’t been heard from since.
Investigation
Noelle left some of her personal belongings, including a backpack, at the apartment on East Redondo Avenue. Her cellphone was later found at the Southwest ticket counter in LAX airport.
Authorities are unsure whether Noelle Lynch boarded a plane that day. She may not be able to identify herself and may be in need of medical attention.
Whereabouts
The circumstances of Noelle Lynch’s disappearance remain unclear and her case is currently classified as missing.
